Sessions are individualized to the student's needs. While repitition and memorization are important, we focus more on procedural fluency and conceptual development. We want students to understand the concept and feel confident enough to solve any problem based on that concept.

Much of science goes beyond the textbook and focuses on making connections. That's exactly what we emphasize in our sessions. Whether it's conducting a depper investigation into a concept or analyzing different ways of using a scientific formula, your child will leave each session feeling confident in their understanding of Science.

Whether it's reading or writing, we engage each student by finding what interests them and helping them form connections with real-life examples. We focus not only on the text, but on the whole story. We have students explore the history surrounding the story. We have them act out different scenes, rewrite their own endings, and add illustrations to enhance the reading experience.

Get ready for a rigorous approach to test preparation with our tutors. Our sessions provide support in more ways one. We'll help clarify, question, explain, and reason through each concept and/or problem with you. We'll provide you with test-taking strategies and have you practice with a number of planned tests to help you hone your skills and assess how well you understand the information needed to successfully pass your test.
